David Eddy is a self taught artist living and working in the quaint town of West Stockbridge, Ma. A fiercely independent soul who has long been connected to the freelance sports of surfing and skateboarding, It's no wonder his artwork has a raw and passionate persona. His acrylic paintings are honest and emotional like a child's, but are sophisticated, manipulated imperceptibly by the hand of a true artist. The "naive" characters within the paintings speak to the viewer as emotional self portraits. The New York Times described Eddy's paintings as "noticeably reminiscent of Paul Klee's".
